R v S [2024] Snaresbrook Crown Court

Instructed as junior counsel in a 10-week multi-handed armed robbery trial.

R v N [2024] Kingston Crown Court

Client found driving a high value car six minutes after it was taken acquitted of theft and handling stolen goods. Insufficiencies in the investigation were exposed in cross examination of officers.

R v B [2024] Southwark Crown Court

Client charged with robbery and two counts of handling stolen goods, having been arrested in the same location with a number of pictures of the watches on his phone. Successful half time submission in respect of the robbery, following which the Defendant was acquitted on both counts of handling stolen goods also.

R v M [2024] Reading Crown Court

Client acquitted of 3 counts of assault by beating on an emergency worker and one count of obstructing a s.23 search. Excessive force and improper procedure were highlighted through cross examination. Obstruction was dismissed at half time as the search was shown to be unlawful. Self-defence was successfully advanced and the jury acquitted the Defendant unanimously on the remainder.

R v S [2024] Isleworth Crown Court

Client charged with false imprisonment, threats to kill, and assault occasioning ABH acquitted after the Crown offer no evidence during trial.

R v C [2024] Medway Youth Court

Client acquitted of s.18 GBH and convicted instead of s.20. The complainant was stabbed four times.

R v J [2023] Woolwich Crown Court

Acquitted of 2 counts of assault by beating on an emergency worker and racially aggravated s4A POA. Represented the first of three Defendants, successfully advancing self-defence.

R v M [2023] Reading Crown Court

Secured acquittals on all counts for client charged with threats to kill, battery and theft. The defendant was alleged to have threatened the complainant with a knife during a physical attack and stolen her bank card. A number of inconsistencies in the complainant’s account were exposed through cross-examination.

R v O [2023] Holborn Nightingale Court

Secured acquittals on all counts for client charged with possession with intent to supply class B drugs, possession of class B drugs, possession of a bladed article and possession of criminal property.

R v M [2023] Brighton Youth Court

CPS discontinue prosecution of a youth charged with sexual assault following written representations regarding personal circumstances and delay.
