Nine Mountford Chambers members appointed to the Sport Resolutions Safeguarding Case Management Programme (SCMP) Legal Advice Service.

We are delighted to announce that Rebecca Upton, Daniel Frier, Sophie Evans, Mark Watson, Benjamin Brown, Jim Olphert, Laura Paisley, James Lloyd and Chloe Birch have been appointed as members of the SCMP Legal Advice Service.

The formation of the SMP Legal Advice Service (LAS) will provide National Governing Bodies (NGBs) participating in the Safeguarding Case Management Programme (SCMP) with expert legal assistance in preparing for and/or attendance at safeguarding disciplinary hearings administered by Sports Resolutions.

The service, which came into effect on 1st September 2022, will provide NGBs with access to legal advice and support from the safeguarding panel when navigating the safeguarding process.

Currently 41 sports have signed up to the Programme.
