Mark Watson secures acquittal in kidnapping trial

30/11/2021

Mark Watson secured an acquittal for his client in a trial in which three Defendants were alleged to have lured a woman, whom they were buying designer goods from, into a car and kidnapped her for many hours.

The Crown had to accept that the investigation into the offences was not as through as it should have been, amongst other issues.

Mark’s client was the only one of the three Defendants to be acquitted of kidnap.

Mark was instructed by Ann Hepburn at Lawrence & Co Solicitors.
