Following a 3 month trial at the Old Bailey, Alan Kent KC’s client was found Not Guilty of Murder, and of two counts alleging Conspiracy to Cause GBH with Intent.

The defendant was accused of taking part in ‘ride out’ in a stolen taxi to avenge an earlier stabbing. The deceased was a 16 year old boy who was stabbed to death in front of his mother in her bedroom after the gang of youths broke into her home in South London.   

Alan’s client was convicted of Robbery of the taxi which he used to drive the group to three separate addresses before finding the victim.  

Alan led Salma Lalani from 1MCB and was instructed by Clint Ambrose from Cambrose Solicitors.
