Zayd Ahmed starts 5-day trial for a defendant indicted with the importation of 8 kilograms of cocaine and heroin.

Zayd Ahmed has been instructed to defend an individual charged with the importation of 8 kilograms of cocaine and heroin.

The defendant was stopped on her way into the UK by customs and upon searching her possessions, a large quantity of cocaine was found hidden in numerous food items.

The trial is to take place in Winchester Crown Court for 5 days.

Zayd is routinely instructed as junior counsel in all cases involving serious and organised crime.
