Tristan Meears-White Accepts Offer of Tenancy

15/07/2026

We’re pleased to announce that Tristan Meears-White has accepted tenancy at chambers following the successful completion of his pupillage.

Prior to transferring to the Bar in July 2024, Tristan practiced as a solicitor and has over 25 years’ experience in health, safety and environmental regulation, inquests, general regulation and white-collar crime. He has defended complex SFO and HMRC fraud cases and advised on Bribery Act, Trading Standards and product safety, advertising standards compliance and criminal defence. Tristan has also acted in cross-jurisdictional fraud cases, encompassing both civil and criminal proceedings, including matters under the Proceeds of Crime Act, and has been involved in the private prosecution of a complex fraud in the energy sector.

Ben Heaviside, Senior Clerk, said: “We are delighted that Tristan has accepted tenancy. His exceptional depth of experience across regulatory, fraud and criminal matters, combined with the practical insight he brings from more than two decades as a solicitor, makes him an excellent addition to chambers. We look forward to supporting the continued growth of his practice.”

Chris Henley KC, Head of Chambers, said: “Tristan has been an excellent addition to chambers throughout his pupillage, and we are delighted to welcome him into tenancy. We wish him every success as he builds his practice as a full member of chambers.”

We are delighted to welcome Tristan as a member of chambers. Should you be interested in finding out more about his practice or to enquire about instructing him, please contact the clerks on 020 7936 6300.
