Stephanie Panchkowry’s client unanimously acquitted of domestic ABH and criminal damage

16/08/2024

The defendant was alleged to have attacked the complainant, his ex-partner, striking her 20-30 times, causing a deep wound to hand. He proceeded to pour bleach all down her face and over her body, damaging her clothing. He then continued to break items in her property. The defendant successfully ran self-defence, alleging that the complainant attacked him and that she had set him up.

Stephanie was instructed by Bark & Co Solicitors.
