We are delighted to announce that Silas Lee and Anthony James have accepted tenancy offers following the successful completion of their pupillages.
Since joining Chambers, Silas has represented clients in the magistrates’ and Crown Court as well as joining the counsel team for the Infected Blood Inquiry.
During the first six months of pupillage, Anthony drafted skeleton arguments on issues of gang-related bad character and the admissibility of footprint forensics in a high-profile murder trial, and drafted grounds for Judicial Review of a Judge’s decision to remand a defendant.
Since getting on his feet, Anthony regularly appears in the Magistrates’, Youth and Crown Courts.
Applications for Pupillage opened on the 5th January 2022 and will close at 2pm on 9th February 2022. We intend to offer two pupillages to start in October 2022, and two to start in October 2023. To apply for pupillage with Mountford Chambers, please complete the Application form and the Equality and Diversity form and submit to chambers via email to pupillage@mountfordchambers.com.
