Mountford Chambers offers an exceptional package of funding and training within its pupillage structure, and we have attracted many excellent candidates in recent years. We have been able to offer tenancies to most of our pupils on successful completion of their pupillage. We strive to offer the very best training for a successful career at the Bar and we endeavour to recruit candidates with the potential and talent to become future leaders in their field.
In order to ensure that we continue to recruit the best aspiring new barristers, following our relaunch we have significantly increased our pupillage awards which are now among the best in the market, and we have adjusted our marking criteria Applications for pupillage starting in Autumn 2024 will be considered through our own application form which can be found on our Pupillage page.

We intend to offer up to three pupillages to start in October 2024, each with an award of £40,000.

Timetable
Opening date for applications is 4th January 2023
Closing date for applications is 8th February 2023
First round interview date is Saturday 25th March 2023
Second round interview date is Saturday 22nd April 2023
Offers will be made at 10am on 5th May 2023
Applicants will also be notified if they are either reserve candidates or rejected.
Written feedback is available for applicants who reach the interview stage – any request for feedback must be made within seven days of the outcome of the interview.
