Represented a Defendant charged with fraud by false representation who was alleged to have signed a deferred payment receipt giving a false name and signature. The Defence raised was that DN had not been dishonest and he was acquitted after trial.

Represented a defendant charged with possession of an offensive weapon in private. The Prosecution sought to amend the charge out of time on the day of trial and this was successfully opposed. The Crown conceded there was no realistic prospect of conviction after the amendment was refused and offered no evidence.
R v J [2025] Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court
Represented a Defendant charged with criminal damage caught partially on CCTV. The Crown’s case rested on the officer who exhibited the footage being present at Court. The officer was unable to attend the trial at short notice and the Crown made an application to adjourn. This application was opposed and refused and as a result the Crown offered no evidence.
