Andrew sits as a fee paid judge in the First-tier Tribunal, the Employment Tribunal, and the Court of Protection.
Over the course of his career, he has been an academic philosopher, a barrister in independent practice, and a senior advisory lawyer at H. M. Treasury where he was the lawyer:
advising the Chancellor and Prime Minister on the EU budget and Brexit;
giving advice and training to the Treasury on freedom of information when the Freedom of Information Act came into force; and
specialising in financial sanctions against suspected terrorists following 11 September 2001.
