Civil Fraud

A number of barristers at Mountford Chambers combine civil and criminal experience so as to offer effective representation in cases of civil fraud and asset recovery, including cases of account freezing, civil recovery and forfeiture. We are particularly experienced in handling cases which lie at the cross-over between criminal and civil fraud or where there are parallel criminal and civil proceedings.

We regularly act in substantial High Court litigation involving issues of fraud and we are instructed by some of the country’s leading litigation firms. Our work includes fraud cases arising from complex domestic and cross-jurisdictional disputes and litigation to recover losses in investment fraud.
