Nigel Lambert QC to defend IA, a serving police sergeant facing charges of conspiracy to pervert the course of public justice and misconduct in public office.

The allegations are that IA repeatedly accessed highly confidential and sensitive information from the computers of his employers, West Midland Police and supplied it to his friends for their benefit.

Following what the Prosecution say is a Post Code disagreement between two groups, five men face trial for murder and robbery where two males were attacked on a petrol garage forecourt. One died shortly after from a stab wound. The other escaped in his car, was pursued, and non-fatally stabbed when cornered, in his car.

The trial is expected to run for seven weeks. Nigel is instructed by Claytons Solicitors.
