Chloe is developing a busy practice and is regularly instructed to defend in the Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court. She has experience defending vulnerable clients, including youths and those with mental health difficulties.
During pupillage, Chloe won the RASSO category Criminal Bar Association Inaugural Chair’s essay prize 2023 for her essay entitled; ‘Cross Examination of Complainants in Rape Trials has become so Stringent that a Defendant Cannot Have a Fair Trial’, and subsequently contributed to the Bar Council’s response to the Law Commission Consultation on Evidence in Sexual Offences Prosecutions (Chapter 4) 2023.
