A team of enthusiastic barristers and clerks from Mountford Chambers will participate in the 20th London Legal Walk on Tuesday, 18th June 2024, to support providing life-changing legal advice to the most vulnerable in society.
Our team, consisting of Bozzie Sheffi, Joe Hingston, Tom Edwards, Mark Watson, Fiona Clegg, Ben Brown, James Lloyd, Shekyena Marcelle-Brown, Fatima Jama, Georgia-Mae Chung, Nathan Warren and Jordan Wescott will be joining Lady Chief Justice and thousands of other lawyers in walking 10km to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust (LLST).
Over the past two decades, this event has raised an incredible £10.5 million, facilitating access to justice for hundreds of thousands of people in need. Funds raised by Mountford Chambers will also benefit Advocate and Free Representation Unit (FRU).
FRU supports individuals who are not eligible for legal aid and unable to afford legal representation. Advocate connects the public with barristers willing to offer their expertise pro bono in deserving cases where legal aid is unavailable.
