Joseph Sinclair Appears for the British Horseracing Authority in Important Decision Before the Licensing Committee

The applicant had been disqualified from horse racing for 12 years for his involvement in a betting corruption scandal. The case raised questions as to the threshold an applicant is expected to meet before they are deemed “fit and proper” to hold a professional jockey’s licence.

The Committee were divided on the point, with the majority in favour of granting the licence.
