Jim was instructed to act for a registrant before the NMC Fitness to Practise Committee at a final hearing regarding allegations of dishonesty and misconduct. The facts of the allegations were fiercely contested. Jim persuaded the panel to dismiss half of the charges faced by the registered nurse at half-time, with the rest being found not proved at the facts stage. It is is his second successfully defended regulatory final hearing in April.
