Six years after being interviewed by the police, Fiona’s client was unanimously acquitted of all counts and retains his good character.
The case concerned allegations of theft and computer misuse made by a former employer, following the client’s resignation. It was alleged that the removal of software impaired the computers and in turn the ability for the company to operate. It was also alleged that theft of designs and artwork enabled the client to steal customers when starting his own company.
Following a three week trial, the jury returned not guilty verdicts on all counts.
Fiona was instructed and assisted by Kam Varaitch at IBB Law.
