Fiona Clegg’s client, an engineer of exemplary good character, was alleged to have sexually assaulted a female at a musical festival.

The case necessitated detailed cross-examination on the deficiencies in the identification evidence and a sensitive approach to the young complainant’s evidence.

After a 5 day trial, the defendant was acquitted and retains his good character.

Fiona Clegg was instructed on a private basis by Jeremy Boots at Boots Starke Goacher.
