Financial Crime Newsletter | June 2024

07/06/2024

Welcome to the June 2024 edition of the financial crime newsletter.

There are some interesting articles inside. Chloe Lennon explores an under-examined area of the POCA forfeiture legislation, Rachel Pain reviews the reviewers – the Independent Review of Disclosure and Fraud Offences, and I have a look at the criminal liability of company directors and its limits.

However, Fatima Jama and Georgia May Chung’s piece on R v Tamiz [2024] EWCA Crim 200 got me thinking about appeals, and how they have changed over my career.
