Edward Henry KC is instructed to respond to the Attorney General’s reference in the Fordingbridge rape case, having previously appeared on behalf of the defendant at the original sentencing hearing.
The Attorney General referred the sentence to the Court of Appeal on the grounds that it was considered unduly lenient. Having previously acted for the defence at sentence, Edward Henry KC has been instructed to respond to the reference and defend the sentence imposed by the Crown Court.
