The Court of Appeal handed down judgment yesterday in a Solicitor General’s reference concerning conspiracy to possess firearms with intent to endanger life and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. Richard Furlong appeared for the leading offender in the case.
The Solicitor General’s application to increase what the Crown had argued was an unduly lenient sentence was refused in respect of Mr Furlong’s client.
