Christina Courquin’s client was acquitted of 6 counts on a 7-count indictment, including controlling or coercive behaviour, ABH, assault by beating, criminal damage and threats to cause criminal damage, following a five-day trial at Winchester Crown Court. The case involved extensive cross examination of seven prosecution witnesses. The jury returned unanimous not guilty verdicts after less than three hours deliberation.
