The client was accused of being the owner of dog dangerously out of control in a public place. The dog in question was alleged to have bitten a member of the public. Due to the allegation, the dog was kept in kennels while proceedings were ongoing. Following discussions in court highlighting the gaps in the Crown’s case, the prosecution offered no evidence against the client. The dog was ordered to be released from the kennels after this result.
