Chloe Lennon Makes a Successful Half-time Submission for a Client Charged with a Child Cruelty Offence

Chloe’s client was accused of child cruelty against their child (hitting and making the child stand in stress positions). Following cross examination of the two Crown witnesses, Chloe successfully advanced a submission of no case to answer on the basis of evidential issues in the Crown’s case.

The jury was directed by the Judge to return a not guilty verdict.

Chloe’s client retained their good character.
