Charles Hannaford secures acquittal in retrial

The defendant was first prosecuted, in respect of allegations dating back to May 2021, in April 2024 when the jury were unable to reach a verdict.

Following a five day re-trial at Birmingham Crown Court the defendant was unanimously acquitted of Rape (Count 1) and acquitted by majority of sexual activity with a family member (Count 2).
