Ben Hargreaves leads Ben Brown at Chelmsford Crown Court in a case involving a multi-handed and multiple allegations of large scale Class A drug importations, using an Atlantic yacht race as cover.
The case concerns a sophisticated conspiracy to import tonnes of Class A drugs from the Caribbean on a racing yacht during the ARC race. The case has been brought by the NCA and prosecuted by Kings Counsel.
The trial is scheduled to last 10-12 weeks at Chelmsford Crown Court.
