Alexandra Scott’s Client Unanimously Acquitted of Attempted Murder

23/07/2026

Alexandra Scott’s client was charged with attempted murder.  It was alleged that the two defendants planned to kill the complainant, ambushing him in his flat before launching a frenzied attack with a large knife provided by the second defendant.  Medical evidence indicated that the complainant had been stabbed once in the chest and three times in the abdomen.

Following a two-week trial at the Central Criminal Court, both defendants were unanimously acquitted of attempted murder, and convicted of the alternative count of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. They will be sentenced in August.

Alexandra was instructed by Jettender Arora of Saunders Solicitors.
