Anthony secured a unanimous acquittal for a defendant charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B drugs following a four-day trial at Isleworth Crown Court.
Anthony’s client was charged with being concerned in the supply of MDMA and cannabis on the basis of messages found on a mobile telephone said to the belong to the defendant. Anthony ran a two-fold defence, namely that there was insufficient evidence of the supply of either drug and that the attribution evidence linking the defendant to the device was unreliable.
Anthony was instructed by Eddie Tang of IBB Law.
