Alphege represented the lead and first defendant in a case involving a total of 15 defendants. The case arose from the now well known Operation Venetic Encrochat investigation. It was prosecuted by the Specialist Crime Team. The defendant was being investigated in respect of the national supply of 100s Kilos of Heroin, Cocaine and Cannabis being distributed monthly.
