Alan Kent KC began a trial at Manchester Crown Court on 24th February 2025. He is representing the first defendant in a multi handed ‘Encro Chat’ case. The defendants are accused of being involved in conspiracies to possess and supply firearms and ammunition with intent to endanger life, conspiracies to supply cocaine and possess criminal property and conspiracy to murder.
Alan is due to make his closing speech on 21st May and the jury should retire on or about 27th May.
