On 11th May 2026, Alan Kent KC began a murder trial at the Loughborough ‘Super Court’. Alan’s client is one of 7 defendants who are charged with murder following an attack in the Allenton area of Derby. The deceased died following a group attack by a number of males who were armed with machetes, swords and ‘Rambo’ style knives.
A total of 10 defendants are on trial, which has a time estimate of 4 months.
