Chloe’s client (a 25 year old of previous good character) was acquitted of two offences of sexual assault, alleged to have taken place in a nightclub in the early hours of the morning.
The interactions between the pair, who remained strangers, were captured on CCTV and played to the jury at trial.
Following careful cross-examination of the complainant, which elicited that they had not in fact seen the actions they had described, and analysis of the CCTV footage, Chloe’s client was acquitted in just under an hour.
Pending the trial conclusion, Chloe’s client had had their immigration proceedings halted, which had caused them to become unemployed. These acquittals maintain his previous good character.
Chloe was instructed by Ouiza Silem at IBB Crime with HAL Solicitors.
